Q: How do I save a recipe?
Tap the bookmark icon on any recipe. You can save recipes you find in search, recipes shared by people you follow, and recipes you import from a link or photo. Saved recipes live in your cookbook, where you can sort them into folders.
Q: How do I add my own recipe?
Tap the + button to create a post. You can type the recipe in yourself, or fill it in automatically — see importing below.
Q: Can I import a recipe from a website?
Yes. In your cookbook, tap import, paste the link, and Bite reads the recipe from the page. It's imported and saved for you in one step. Importing from recipe websites is free and unlimited.
Q: Can I import a recipe from Instagram?
Yes, when the recipe is written in the caption. Open the reel or post in Instagram, tap the share button, and choose Bite. The app opens, pulls the recipe out of the caption, and saves it to your cookbook. Instagram imports require Bite Pro.
Q: Can I import a recipe from another app or from Safari?
Yes. Anywhere you see the share button, choose Bite and the recipe will be imported and saved automatically.
